Who needs it?  If you live in an area that experiences winter temperatures below 45 degrees Fahrenheit you will want to purchase winter shipping insurance.  For only $10.00, your plant will be shipped with a heat pack and bubble wrap for insulation to ensure it arrives to you free of any damage from the cold or we will refund your money back! 

You will receive a notification of shipping and will need to ensure that the plant is welcomed into your home the date of arrival.  If you will be traveling, please contact us to reschedule the shipment date at least 24 hours prior to shipping.  You do not want to leave your lovely new friend out in the cold. The heat pack that is provided with the insurance is good for 72 hours from the time shipped so we are confident that your plant will arrive safe and warm.

If you are purchasing multiple plants, you may need to purchase insurance for each plant if the plants are being shipped separately.  Feel free to reach out to us at support@plantasticdirect.com and we will confirm the amount required for your order.

Refund Policy for all Plants

If your plant arrives damaged, simply take a photo and send it to support@plantasticdirect.com within 3 days after the delivery date.

We will make a determination and will refund the amount purchased if you have a valid concern.  We will notify you via email, within 48 hours after we have received your email with the photos supporting your claim and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, your refund will be applied to your original payment method. The refund will ALWAYS be back to the card used for the original purchase, no exceptions. 

The refund amount will post in accordance with your cards policy, usually within 3 to 5 business days. 

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and correct as necessary. All claims must be made within 3 days after the delivery date.
Exchanges
We do not do exchanges on plants.
Replacements
We do not replace plants.  We will issue a refund if appropriate. (see above), and you may place another order if desired.

Environment

Habitat: High Humidity

This is a plant that is known for dealing with tropical conditions, which means it does need to be kept in warm conditions. This is the only way it is going to continue to grow as it needs to and reach its maximum growth potential.

Maximum Size: 12 - 14" (Tall) to 11 - 18" Wide

This is not a large plant and it is going to match its "tiny dancer" nickname to a tee. It needs to be kept in warm conditions as that is how it is going to reach its true height when it begins to grow.

Space / Planter Size: Small

This is not going to require a large planter to grow. It simply needs enough space to reach its potential and a small planter is going to suffice for it to get to how it needs to be. The more important factor is to make sure it has enough water and warmth.

History

This plant is found in Asia and is known for doing well in humid conditions. This is why it does well when there is lots of light nearby. This sleek plant is renowned for its beautiful aesthetic and that is what draws people in as soon as it is planted.

Plant Care

It does not require a lot of upkeep. This is a simple plant to take care of as long as it is watered and kept in the sunlight for short periods. It is not going to need pruning and that saves time for those who want a stress-free option for their set up.

Water: Moderate

This is going to require water from time to time. It does need to be kept moist but not to the point where the roots begin to rot due to watery soil. it is best to water it with drainage holes in the planter. This will give it ample space to grow without ruining the roots

Sun: Moderate

This does not need direct sunlight to grow. It should receive partial sunlight as that will create optimal conditions for it to reach its potential. Some will attempt to put it in direct sunlight and that will not help the leaves grow. It can harm and burn them.

Care Level: Moderate

This is not going to require ample care to reach its growth potential. Since it does not need to be pruned, most people can get away with providing it with enough water to ensure the leaves are moist. With the right number of drainage holes in the planter, it's possible to keep it growing without more than a few minutes of care during the day.
