History

Overall, Calathea Roseopicta Dottie is a visually striking plant that can add a touch of tropical beauty to your indoor space, provided it receives the right conditions and care.

Plant Care

You should avoid using chlorinated water, as Calatheas are sensitive to chemicals. Using filtered or distilled water is recommended. Misting the leaves or using a humidifier can help create the desired humidity levels.

Water: Moderate

Calathea Roseopicta Dottie appreciates a consistent watering routine, evenly moist but not soggy soil, and moderate to high humidity levels. It thrives in temperatures between 60 to 75°F and should be protected from drafts or sudden temperature fluctuations.

Sun: Bright, Indirect

This Calathea variety prefers bright, indirect light. It should be kept away from direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves. Placing it near an east-facing window or a few feet away from a bright, filtered light source is ideal.

Care Level: Moderate

Calathea Roseopicta Dottie is considered to have a moderate care level. While it may require a bit more attention compared to some other houseplants, it can still be successfully cultivated with proper care.
