Who needs it?  If you live in an area that experiences winter temperatures below 45 degrees Fahrenheit you will want to purchase winter shipping insurance.  For only $10.00, your plant will be shipped with a heat pack and bubble wrap for insulation to ensure it arrives to you free of any damage from the cold or we will refund your money back! 

You will receive a notification of shipping and will need to ensure that the plant is welcomed into your home the date of arrival.  If you will be traveling, please contact us to reschedule the shipment date at least 24 hours prior to shipping.  You do not want to leave your lovely new friend out in the cold. The heat pack that is provided with the insurance is good for 72 hours from the time shipped so we are confident that your plant will arrive safe and warm.

If you are purchasing multiple plants, you may need to purchase insurance for each plant if the plants are being shipped separately.  Feel free to reach out to us at support@plantasticdirect.com and we will confirm the amount required for your order.

Refund Policy for all Plants

If your plant arrives damaged, simply take a photo and send it to support@plantasticdirect.com within 3 days after the delivery date.

We will make a determination and will refund the amount purchased if you have a valid concern.  We will notify you via email, within 48 hours after we have received your email with the photos supporting your claim and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, your refund will be applied to your original payment method. The refund will ALWAYS be back to the card used for the original purchase, no exceptions. 

The refund amount will post in accordance with your cards policy, usually within 3 to 5 business days. 

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and correct as necessary. All claims must be made within 3 days after the delivery date.
Exchanges
We do not do exchanges on plants.
Replacements
We do not replace plants.  We will issue a refund if appropriate. (see above), and you may place another order if desired.

Habitat: Indoor / 64 - 73°F

It is best to put this plant in a room that is set at 64°–73°F. This will make sure it is warm enough for the plant to continue to grow and reach its fullest potential.

Maximum Size: 20 - 100"

It will vary in size depending on how it is maintained. The average plant is going to grow to somewhere around 20", but it can grow much larger than this. It is best to prepare for this when planting The Elephant's Foot and making sure it works out as planned.

Space / Planter Size: Large

It is best to have a large planter for this plant to make sure it has space to grow. For the most part, it is going to do well within a large planter, but it's also recommended to make sure it is not pressed against a wall. It should be allowed to grow freely.

Plant Care

When it comes to caring for this type of plant, it's important to make sure it is set up in a warm setting that is not going to have fluctuating temperatures. This allows the plant to remain stable and will ensure it grows as it needs to. It tends to grow upright, which means it does need space to ensure it will not be impeded from reaching its potential.

Water: Moderate

It is best to keep the soil moist and ensure it does get enough water to sustain itself. However, this does not mean the plant requires excessive water, which it tends to flood the roots and lead to standing water in the planter. This is unsafe for the plant and is going to oversaturate it to the point of causing the plant harm. Avoid this from happening at all costs.

Sun: Moderate

It is best to make sure there is enough sunlight to ensure it does have space to maximize its growth. For the most part, this plant does not need direct sunlight. It will be fine with indirect sunlight as long as it is kept in a safe environment that's warm.

Care Level: Moderate

This is not going to require extensive care as long as it is getting enough water and there's ample space for the plant to remain upright. If this is the case, it will reach its potential and grow the way it is supposed to when planted indoors. When it is watered properly, it will grow well.
