Who needs it?  If you live in an area that experiences winter temperatures below 45 degrees Fahrenheit you will want to purchase winter shipping insurance.  For only $10.00, your plant will be shipped with a heat pack and bubble wrap for insulation to ensure it arrives to you free of any damage from the cold or we will refund your money back! 

You will receive a notification of shipping and will need to ensure that the plant is welcomed into your home the date of arrival.  If you will be traveling, please contact us to reschedule the shipment date at least 24 hours prior to shipping.  You do not want to leave your lovely new friend out in the cold. The heat pack that is provided with the insurance is good for 72 hours from the time shipped so we are confident that your plant will arrive safe and warm.

If you are purchasing multiple plants, you may need to purchase insurance for each plant if the plants are being shipped separately.  Feel free to reach out to us at support@plantasticdirect.com and we will confirm the amount required for your order.

Refund Policy for all Plants

If your plant arrives damaged, simply take a photo and send it to support@plantasticdirect.com within 3 days after the delivery date.

We will make a determination and will refund the amount purchased if you have a valid concern.  We will notify you via email, within 48 hours after we have received your email with the photos supporting your claim and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, your refund will be applied to your original payment method. The refund will ALWAYS be back to the card used for the original purchase, no exceptions. 

The refund amount will post in accordance with your cards policy, usually within 3 to 5 business days. 

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and correct as necessary. All claims must be made within 3 days after the delivery date.
Exchanges
We do not do exchanges on plants.
Replacements
We do not replace plants.  We will issue a refund if appropriate. (see above), and you may place another order if desired.

Environment

Habitat: 55 - 85°F

Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma is sensitive to extra cold and extra hot temperatures. It will wilt in extreme heat and brown in frost. Move your plant away from air conditioner vents or fans.

Maximum Size: 5'

This plant can grow to 4'-5' indoors but can get up to 12' if outdoors.

Space / Planter Size: Medium / Large

This plant requires a lot of room for the roots to grow. A large deep planter is best. Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma is a fast grower and will benefit from repotting twice a year.

History

Also known as Mini Monstera, Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma is native to Southern Thailand and Malaysia and is mostly found it moist to dry forests. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor conditions and is a good choice for the beginner gardener.

Plant Care

In general the Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma "Mini Monstera" Philodendron "Ginny" is an easy to take care of but some care is needed. Just remember to maintain a repotting schedule of once or twice a year to avoid root crowding. Find a bright warm spot in your home and this lush plant will thrive.

Water: Moderate

This plant should be watered as needed. The top several inches should be dry to the touch before watering. Water thoroughly and do not overwater.

Sun: Bright, Indirect

Bright, indirect light is best for this plant. Since Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma is native to the forest, it will do best if you can mimic this environment of filtered light. Avoid full sun for extended periods of time.
