Habitat: High Humidity

Alocasia Silver Dragon Baginda requires high humidity levels to thrive. You can increase humidity by misting the leaves, placing the plant on a tray of pebbles filled with water, or using a humidifier.

Maximum Size: 1 - 2' (Tall) to 1 - 2' Wide

Alocasia Silver Dragon Baginda is a relatively small Alocasia species, reaching a maximum height of about 1-2 feet and a width of about 1-2 feet at maturity. The plant typically grows from a tuberous rhizome and produces multiple stems with arrow-shaped leaves that are green with silver veins.

Space / Planter Size: Small

Alocasia Silver Dragon Baginda is a relatively compact plant and doesn't require a lot of space, making it a great choice for smaller indoor spaces.

Alocasia Silver Dragon Baginda is native to Southeast Asia, specifically to the rain forests of Borneo, an island shared by Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei. It is a tropical plant that thrives in warm, humid environments with ample rainfall.

Plant Care

The Alocasia Baginda plant is known for its distinct pattern of silver veins that run across its leaves, giving it a dragon-scale-like appearance. Its leaves are typically small to medium-sized and have a glossy, metallic sheen that makes them stand out.

Water: Moderate

Proper watering is important for the health and growth of Alocasia Silver Dragon Baginda. Allow the top inch or two of soil to dry out before watering again. Overwatering can lead to root rot, which can be fatal to the plant.

Sun: Bright/Indirect

Alocasia Silver Dragon Baginda prefers bright, indirect light, but not direct sunlight. Too much direct sunlight can scorch the leaves and cause them to brown or yellow. Ideally, place the plant near a window that receives bright, indirect light, or provide it with filtered light through a sheer curtain.

Care Level: Moderate

Alocasia Silver Dragon Baginda is considered to be a moderately challenging plant to care for, as it has specific requirements in terms of water, light, and humidity. However, with proper care, it can thrive and become a stunning addition to your indoor plant collection.
