Habitat: 65°F to 85°F

Calathea Warszewiczii thrives in warm temperatures ranging from 65°F to 80°F. Avoid exposing it to temperatures below 60°F or cold drafts, as this can harm the plant.

Maximum Size: 2'- 3'

Calathea Warszewiczii is a medium-sized plant that typically grows to about 2 to 3 feet in height. The leaves can reach a length of around 8 to 12 inches.

Space / Planter Size: Small

The plant's medium size means it doesn't require excessive space. However, it's best to provide adequate room for the plant to spread out its leaves without overcrowding. A 6 to 8-inch pot should be sufficient for a young plant, but it may require repotting to a larger container as it grows.

With the right care, Calathea Warszewiczii can be a beautiful addition to your indoor plant collection, adding a touch of lush greenery and vibrant colors with its eye-catching foliage.

Plant Care

This Calathea species prefers high humidity levels to replicate its natural rainforest habitat. Mist the leaves regularly or place the plant on a tray filled with water and pebbles to increase humidity around it. Avoid placing it near drafts or heaters that can dry out the air.

Water: High

Calathea Warszewiczii enjoys moist but well-drained soil. It's crucial to maintain consistent soil moisture without allowing it to become waterlogged. Watering when the top inch of soil feels dry is generally a good guideline, but it's important to monitor the plant's specific watering needs based on factors such as humidity levels and the size of the container.

Sun: Bright, Indirect

This plant prefers bright, indirect light. It thrives in environments with filtered or partially shaded sunlight. Direct sunlight can scorch the leaves, so it's important to avoid placing it in direct sunlight.

Care Level: Moderate

Calathea Warszewiczii requires moderate care, making it suitable for both beginner and experienced plant enthusiasts. While it has specific needs, meeting them can help maintain its health and appearance.
