Who needs it?  If you live in an area that experiences winter temperatures below 45 degrees Fahrenheit you will want to purchase winter shipping insurance.  For only $10.00, your plant will be shipped with a heat pack and bubble wrap for insulation to ensure it arrives to you free of any damage from the cold or we will refund your money back! 

You will receive a notification of shipping and will need to ensure that the plant is welcomed into your home the date of arrival.  If you will be traveling, please contact us to reschedule the shipment date at least 24 hours prior to shipping.  You do not want to leave your lovely new friend out in the cold. The heat pack that is provided with the insurance is good for 72 hours from the time shipped so we are confident that your plant will arrive safe and warm.

If you are purchasing multiple plants, you may need to purchase insurance for each plant if the plants are being shipped separately.  Feel free to reach out to us at support@plantasticdirect.com and we will confirm the amount required for your order.

Refund Policy for all Plants

If your plant arrives damaged, simply take a photo and send it to support@plantasticdirect.com within 3 days after the delivery date.

We will make a determination and will refund the amount purchased if you have a valid concern.  We will notify you via email, within 48 hours after we have received your email with the photos supporting your claim and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, your refund will be applied to your original payment method. The refund will ALWAYS be back to the card used for the original purchase, no exceptions. 

The refund amount will post in accordance with your cards policy, usually within 3 to 5 business days. 

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and correct as necessary. All claims must be made within 3 days after the delivery date.
Exchanges
We do not do exchanges on plants.
Replacements
We do not replace plants.  We will issue a refund if appropriate. (see above), and you may place another order if desired.

Environment

Habitat: Indoor / Outdoor, 60 - 70°F

It's best to keep this plant set between 60 and 70 degrees Fahrenheit. This does well in indoor settings and tends to be easy to maintain. As long as the temperature is consistent, it will remain steady and is not going to break down as time goes on.

Maximum Size: 5'

This plant can grow up to five feet in height depending on how well-maintained it is. Some plants are going to grow less than this but it's best to be prepared for this type of growth when it comes to the Dracaena "Hawaiian Sunshine".

Space / Planter Size: Large

Due to how much it can grow, it is best to choose a larger planter. This makes it easier to manage and ensures the planter does not constrict the plant. It should offer enough space for the plant to continue to grow without rubbing against the sides.

History

This is a tropical plant that is commonly found in warm regions. This includes Hawaii. It's a plant that is synonymous with warm weather and tends to do well in such conditions. When it is set outdoors, it's common for the plant to do well when it is hot outdoors and it will still grow in low sunlight. This makes it one of the more prominent plants in these conditions and it does well indoors too.

Plant Care

Most people are going to want to consider the care process associated with a plant such as this. With the Dracaena "Hawaiian Sunshine", it is easy to care for. It will require moderate watering and a little bit of sunlight to make sure it continues to grow as you need it to. The plant does not require additional maintenance and will continue to look the part as time goes on.

Water: Moderate Watering

When it comes to watering, it's best to not let standing water become a thing. This means it should be moist but it's best to avoid a situation where the water begins to flood the roots. It should be done moderately as that is more than enough water for the Dracaena "Hawaiian Sunshine" to sustain itself.
