Who needs it?  If you live in an area that experiences winter temperatures below 45 degrees Fahrenheit you will want to purchase winter shipping insurance.  For only $10.00, your plant will be shipped with a heat pack and bubble wrap for insulation to ensure it arrives to you free of any damage from the cold or we will refund your money back! 

You will receive a notification of shipping and will need to ensure that the plant is welcomed into your home the date of arrival.  If you will be traveling, please contact us to reschedule the shipment date at least 24 hours prior to shipping.  You do not want to leave your lovely new friend out in the cold. The heat pack that is provided with the insurance is good for 72 hours from the time shipped so we are confident that your plant will arrive safe and warm.

If you are purchasing multiple plants, you may need to purchase insurance for each plant if the plants are being shipped separately.  Feel free to reach out to us at support@plantasticdirect.com and we will confirm the amount required for your order.

Refund Policy for all Plants

If your plant arrives damaged, simply take a photo and send it to support@plantasticdirect.com within 3 days after the delivery date.

We will make a determination and will refund the amount purchased if you have a valid concern.  We will notify you via email, within 48 hours after we have received your email with the photos supporting your claim and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, your refund will be applied to your original payment method. The refund will ALWAYS be back to the card used for the original purchase, no exceptions. 

The refund amount will post in accordance with your cards policy, usually within 3 to 5 business days. 

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and correct as necessary. All claims must be made within 3 days after the delivery date.
Exchanges
We do not do exchanges on plants.
Replacements
We do not replace plants.  We will issue a refund if appropriate. (see above), and you may place another order if desired.

Environment

Habitat: 64 - 81°F

It's important for this plant to be set in a warm environment to make sure it continues to grow. This will allow it to stay hydrated and ensure it does have the chance to grow. If it is kept indoors, it is best to put it in a space where there is indirect sunlight and the temperature does not fluctuate rapidly. It is these fluctuations that can be bad for the plant and can make it difficult to maintain.

Maximum Size: 6 - 8' plus

It is common for this plant to grow tall when it is in the right environment. Because it's a vine it will continue to grow more than 8', if allowed depending on how it is set up. If it is kept straight, it will continue to grow and it is going to hit its maximum height.

Space / Planter Size: Large

To make sure its roots have space to grow, it is best to make sure to have a larger planter. This ensures the planter does not get in the way of how the plant grows. This becomes doubly important when the plant starts to grow taller as that will cause it to expand.

Watering this plant is not going to be a major concern. It is going to require water every week. As long as the soil is not soaked, it will be fine. It is important to make sure to avoid over-watering this plant as it can sustain itself in the right conditions.

For the most part, this is a good house plant because it does not demand direct sunlight. This makes it easier to set up in a bright room without direct sunlight. As long as it is warm indoors, this will be fine for the house plant.
