Who needs it?  If you live in an area that experiences winter temperatures below 45 degrees Fahrenheit you will want to purchase winter shipping insurance.  For only $10.00, your plant will be shipped with a heat pack and bubble wrap for insulation to ensure it arrives to you free of any damage from the cold or we will refund your money back! 

You will receive a notification of shipping and will need to ensure that the plant is welcomed into your home the date of arrival.  If you will be traveling, please contact us to reschedule the shipment date at least 24 hours prior to shipping.  You do not want to leave your lovely new friend out in the cold. The heat pack that is provided with the insurance is good for 72 hours from the time shipped so we are confident that your plant will arrive safe and warm.

If you are purchasing multiple plants, you may need to purchase insurance for each plant if the plants are being shipped separately.  Feel free to reach out to us at support@plantasticdirect.com and we will confirm the amount required for your order.

Refund Policy for all Plants

If your plant arrives damaged, simply take a photo and send it to support@plantasticdirect.com within 3 days after the delivery date.

We will make a determination and will refund the amount purchased if you have a valid concern.  We will notify you via email, within 48 hours after we have received your email with the photos supporting your claim and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, your refund will be applied to your original payment method. The refund will ALWAYS be back to the card used for the original purchase, no exceptions. 

The refund amount will post in accordance with your cards policy, usually within 3 to 5 business days. 

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and correct as necessary. All claims must be made within 3 days after the delivery date.
Exchanges
We do not do exchanges on plants.
Replacements
We do not replace plants.  We will issue a refund if appropriate. (see above), and you may place another order if desired.

Habitat: Hot Humidity (Tropical conditions)

This is a plant that is going to be seeking sunlight and warm conditions. Since it is a tropical plant, this is something you should expect right away. Access to sunlight is important for the plant to sustain itself and continue to look the way it is supposed to.

Maximum Size: 6 - 12" (Tall), 6 - 12" (Width)

This is a small plant when it is fully grown. It has a presence when it begins to grow but more due to the size of its leaves. It's best to keep it in humid conditions and provide access to sunlight as that will make sure it reaches its fullest potential.

Space / Planter Size: Large

This will require a sizable planter to make sure it has room for growth and the leaves do not get impeded as they begin to reach their full potential. This is integral to taking care of a plant such as this one.

This is a plant that has been around for a long time and has over 1,000 species. As mentioned, it is found in tropical climates such as Mexico, the Caribbean, and Florida. Over the years, it has become popular in different parts due to its gorgeous leaves and how it looks from different angles.

Plant Care

The best way to care for this plant is to make sure it has access to sunlight and it is watered from time to time. This will ensure its hydration needs are met and the plant does not wilt. This also means keeping the plant well-drained in the planter as that will ensure it's fresh.

Water: Moderate

It is okay to not water this regularly. It should be allowed to dry after watering to make sure it has room to grow. The succulent leaves do not demand constant watering as it is a tropical plant designed to withstand regular heat without rain.

Sun: Bright, Indirect

It is important to provide this plant with access to sunlight. This is something a tropical plant such as this one is going to require. The succulent leaves will need to dry and that is when the sunlight becomes essential for them to grow. When the roots become soggy, this is when rot starts to settle in. It is best to make sure it is not kept in the shade for too long.

This is a resilient plant and it is not going to require regular care. However, it should be watered from time to time and the placement of this plant will matter. Providing access to sunlight is a must and will ensure it continues to grow the way it needs to.
